Most times people come to me with “it needs something but I’m not sure what?” This is my absolute favorite part of the process!
This school is lucky to have a deeply dedicated HSA team and principal and while they knew their playground space needed help, they weren’t quite sure what could be done. So we all got to work, and after many months of planning, brainstorming, conversations and hard sweaty work the outcome is enjoyed by all!
I recently visited almost a year later and the paint is still in tact and the kids are still interacting with each of the areas we created!

Painting blacktop is the “in” thing right now; it’s an economical way to use HSA funds while bringing fun games, positive messaging and things to do for those “blacktop only” recess days.
